As with so many of the articles on these pages, this particularly interesting machine was forwarded by Bennie Ludolphy which includes some excellent photographs* of the ERLA-JAWA iceracing engine made some years ago by German tuner Erich Lawrentz.

As you see there is on the JAWA bottom half a DUCATI desmodromic 2 valve head very similar to that on the machine from Dutchman Gerrit Rook, which uses the same layout. However, this engine was made before the Rook machine.
