After years of fruitless investigation into the causes of this discrepancy, it was noticed by one bright young apprentice, that the owner's bikes were all painted Spagthorpe Racing Green. Subsequent years of painstaking research have proved that painting your bike Spagthorpe Racing Green greatly decreases your chance being hurt while riding, and especially racing. Scientists are still puzzling over how paint colour can so greatly influence engine reliability. As the mechanism used to increase safety has a linear correlation with number of races entered, won and finshed.
